Double Dare Fundraiser to Benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks
Rotaract's 9th Annual Double Dare Fundraiser – 90’s Style!
Throw it back to the 90s for a night of interactive trivia, outrageous challenges, and nonstop fun at Rotaract Club of Springfield’s 9th Annual Double Dare Fundraiser on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the DoubleTree Hotel!
Inspired by the classic game show, this 90s-themed trivia night raises funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks, helping create one-to-one mentoring relationships that empower local youth.

Service Project: Taste of the Ozarks with BBBS
Volunteer with Rotaract at Taste of the Ozarks
The Rotaract Club of Springfield is partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters to support their annual Taste of the Ozarks fundraiser on Thursday, August 28 at the Oasis Convention Center. Volunteers will help make this signature event a success while enjoying a festive evening. This year's theme is Luau, and the dress code is summer cocktail attire with a tropical twist. Bright colors, florals, breezy dresses, or Hawaiian shirts are encouraged. No need for formal wear, just festive and fun!

Route 66 Rendezvous
Hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Springfield
Circle August 8-9, 2025 in your calendars for one of Springfield’s most meaningful and historic community events. Held during the annual Birthplace of Route 66 Festival, this celebration brings together over 65,000 attendees and commemorates Springfield’s vital role in naming America’s most legendary highway. More importantly, it showcases the power of Rotary—uniting all five local Rotary Clubs and the Springfield Rotaract Club in service, celebration, and civic pride.
This year’s event will offer even more ways for Rotarians and community partners to shine. The LED video wall at St. Louis and Kimbrough will spotlight sponsors and Rotary messaging, while the indoor VIP hospitality space offers a first-class experience for sponsors and their guests. Most importantly, the event serves as a major fundraising and awareness platform for Birthplace Plaza—a signature civic project being built just in time for the 2026 Route 66 Centennial.
Rotarians and Rotaractors are also encouraged to volunteer. From stage setup to greeting guests at the parking garage and hosting in VIP areas, there's a role for everyone. Volunteers help ensure this event's success while making meaningful connections and demonstrating Rotary's value to the broader community.

Double Dare Fundraiser to Benefit KVC
Rotaract Club of Springfield will host its 8th Double Dare fundraiser on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at the Double Tree. The interactive trivia night, based off the iconic American television game show of the same name, raises funds for KVC. Proceeds from the event help the nonprofit provide counseling, crisis programs, support and care to southwest Missouri children and families in times of need.
Expect nothing but laughs and fun throughout each of the three rounds, including themed trivia rounds and minute-to-win-it style games that get teams up and moving around. Check back for more information about sponsorships and purchasing a table.
Rotaract’s event is expected to draw 200-plus supporters, and participating businesses will receive exposure leading up to the evening and at the event. In addition, donors are acknowledged on silent auction bid sheets and on a PowerPoint presentation.
In the past five years, the event raised over $57,000 for the nonprofit. All sponsorships and donations are tax deductible.
