Rotaract End of Year Party
Please join us at 5:30 at Fedora for heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. There is no charge for Rotaract members and a $10 cost for any guests. The $10 can be paid at any Rotaract meeting or at the party. Please RSVP to kristin@springfieldchamber.com.
The program for the evening will include the presentation of the Rotaractor of the Year, induction of the 2008-2009 Officers, recognition of graduating members and superlatives. We are taking suggestions for superlatives, so please email kristin@springfieldchamber.com if you have any suggestions. Examples from last year are Most Athletic, Most Meetings Not Attended, Person With Most Fines, Person Most Likely to Leave Meeting Early, Most Hours Spent at Rockin’ Ribs, etc. |

Springfield Little Theatre presents Tick, Tick...Boom!
Tick, Tick…Boom! is Jonathan Larson’s (creator of RENT) autobiographical tale of a young composer about to turn 30 and falling into oblivion. His girlfriend wants to get married, (TICK), his best friend is making big bucks (TICK) yet Jon is still waiting tables and trying to write the great American musical. The show takes you on the playwright/composer’s journey that led to the Broadway blockbuster, RENT. This youthful, endearing and thoughtful piece which embraces the universal ideal of holding onto your dreams through life’s most difficult challenges.
Under the direction of Chuck Rogers, vocal direction of Leah Hamilton Jenkins and the musical direction of Aaron Smith, the cast is comprised of the dynamic triple combination of Ryan Thomas King, David DePriest and Ashley Rose Smith.

Etiquette & Business Preparation Dinnerw/ Scattered Sites at BGTM
Attention members this will be your third chance to fulfill your community service requirement. We will be presenting an etiquette and business preparation discussion to the Scattered Sites kids. These are kids that are now living on their own and getting ready to enter the working world after high school. We will also be dining with them and sharing interview tips etc. We will also be having a spring cleaning before this event. Please look through your clothing and donate any business/professional wear that you no longer use but is still in good shape. Please RSVP to Shauna Smith |

Happy Hour/Art Walk
Please join us for happy hour at Big Whiskey’s (311 Park Central East) from 5 to 7 p.m. Big Whiskey’s is offering us 2-for-1 drinks and ½ price appetizers during that time period.
Please email kristin@springfieldchamber.com if you plan on attending so we know how many seats to reserve. We will be sitting at the back of the restaurant on the main floor. If the rain holds off we will plan to take in some of Art Walk later that evening.

We will go to see the 7 p.m. showing of In Bruges on Monday, March 31. The cost is $5, but Rotaract will purchase the tickets for members.
